Virginia Trip: Nana's School

On our first day there, we went to visit Nana at her school and she took N around to see the other teachers. I wish I had it on video.  Nana was SOOO excited to show N off to her friends.

He slept on the way to her school.

Visiting the classrooms with his Nana.

On Our Way

Pictures from our flights to Virginia.

I went to get my camera out and realized that something was wrong with my memory card, so the cell phone pictures will have to do.

Sitting in the Jax airport.

His first flight.  We got lucky and had an empty seat beside us.

Success!!!!!  He did so well!  We were so worried that he would cry through the whole thing, but instead he was GREAT.  He slept through most of all 4 of our flights that weekend.

In Atlanta, we changed him into his pajamas and this is what he did on the second flight into Richmond.  :)

I'm 6 Months!

Dear Family and Friends,

I was officially 6 months old on the 19th.  Can you believe it?  Mommy says that there's no way that I could be 6 months already.  What can I say?  Time flies when you're having fun.  I'm halfway to my big birthday.  I wonder what Mommy and Daddy have planned.  They are planning something, right?

I got to fly on my first airplane on my 6 month birthday.  I was coming home after going to Virginia where I got to meet a lot of my family.  I am so lucky.  Did you know that?  I have so many people that have prayed for me and so many people that love me.

Mommy weighed me the day after I turned 6 months and I weighed 17 lbs. 1.5 oz.  I'm getting to be a big boy and Mommy says that she is so proud of me.  She showed me pictures of when I was in the NICU and I was so tiny and it took me so long to gain weight, so she's proud that I've become a chunky boy.

I'm wearing size 3 diapers and I'm in 6-9 month clothing, although I can suck in sometimes and fit into my 3-6 months clothes.

I'm a super social baby and I love people.  I love to play and I LOVE attention.  I'm a big flirt and I love to smile and have fun.

I'm pretty much sitting up on my own.  I still topple over now and then, but it's hard to sit up and sit still when I want to do so much and get to so many places.  My new favorite way of getting around is rolling.  Mommy and Daddy say that I'm a master roller.  I can get anywhere I want, even to the PlayStation, the curtains, and Mommy's computer and I can do it so quickly.

I'm still on the eat, play, and sleep schedule.  The only thing...I've gotten to the point that i don't like to miss anything and I fight going to sleep.  Mommy told me that someday I'll want to nap, but right now, I don't believe her.

I'm still eating 5-6 ounces every 3 hours.  Daddy and Mommy have tried to space out my bottles a little, but I want nothing to do with that plan.  Give me my food!!!!!

I'm also getting some new foods like rice cereal, oatmeal, green beans, and sweet potatoes.  After an initial shock of a new taste, I gobble it down. It tastes so good and I get mad when they don't give it to me fast enough.  This week, I get to try carrots and peas.  Mommy said that she hates peas, but that she'll let me try them and form my own opinion.  We'll see how they taste.  They can't be too bad, right?

I drool a lot and people think that I'm going to be getting teeth soon.  I'm not so sure, but I do know that I go through lots of bibs each day.

I also go through lots of clothes and bibs due to lots of spit up.  I just can't seem to help it.  I open my mouth and it just pours out.  It's a good thing I'm cute, right?

I still don't like to sleep through the night.  I get super hungry and want to be fed.  Again, I'm a boy that likes to eat!

I'm getting ticklish, especially on my sides.  If I'm in a good mood, I will squeal with happiness.

I still love to be outside.  It's my favorite place.  Maybe someday, I'll get a swing and a slide and a bike and a scooter and a skateboard and a...... (Mommy said I had to make the list a little shorter.)

I still like my swing, but I don't sit in it much anymore because sometimes, I try to roll out of it.  I love my exersaucer and I'm starting to figure out the Johnny Jump Up.   I love to lay on the floor and play with my toys.  I also love to be read to.  :)

Well, I guess that I need to get ready for my bath and go to bed.  It's exhausting being a 6 month old.

Thanks for praying for me and loving me.

Love,
N

We went and visited our friends TW and Jenny in Daytona.
What is sad...that I took more pictures on the way there than at their house.  Also, the last 3 pictures were stolen from Jenny's Facebook!
