Sick Little Tater
This is what my Saturday morning looks like so far.
A sick boy: fever, raspy breathing, etc. He's still happy, though, thankfully.
Looks like we might be headed to Solantic before the day is over.
Getting a breathing treatment after breakfast. What joy!
At least it is more enjoyable with some Baby Einstein on the computer.
We tried some Phineas and Ferb, but that didn't last too long.

Got Dirt?
Oh my, I love this little boy.
He was sticking his tongue out a lot tonight. Because he is tongue tied, this is about as far as he can stick it out.

11 Month Birthday
On Saturday, Tater's 11 month birthday, we started off our day by me making waffles for my boys!
We then made our way to the zoo. Man, it was PACKED. It took us almost 30 minutes to find a parking spot, but it was so worth it. We love the zoo and so does the Tater.
While at the zoo, I kept thinking back to a year ago, when we went to the zoo with Joy, her mom, and her older son. It was a day when we enjoyed spending time together and talking about the baby boy that would soon be born. It's a day that I don't want to forget. Now, a year later, I walk around the zoo with my son, a little boy that is the light of my life. God is good.
Tater and I hanging out while Dave got us some food.
(I took quite a few pics while we were waiting, but I used those for his 11 month update.)
The zoo is being taken over by the Tater Monster!
Petting the goats in the kid section.
Can you spot the jaguar?
The beautiful black jaguar
The leopard
Nile Crocodiles
Bongos
Daddy and Tater checking out the bongos. The geese you see in the picture were creating quite a scene. The female goose was nesting in that set of plants and they were not happy that the bongos were close by.
Checking out the rhinos.
Our favorite snakes: The green mambas.
Python
Tater LOVES to hold hands while riding in the stroller. Sooo sweet!
Tater and Mommy checking out the elephants.
He was soo tired on the way home.
Later that night, we took a special trip to DQ to have some yummy ice cream.
Tater's favorite part: The waffle cone! :)
Can't believe that we're now less than one month away from having a one year old.
Broke Eye Baby
Amanda wrote this blog about her daughter who has to wear a patch like the Tater. (Amanda is actually the one that suggested the brand of eye patches that we use with the Tater.)
I can't tell you how many times that I've had these exact same thoughts and today, I wanted to share her blog post:

Presidents' Day
I got the privilege to have the day off with my Tater.
He and I played this morning and then headed out to meet and spend time with Elaine and Little Bug. The kids were so cute together, especially while holding hands.
This picture makes my heart melt.
On our way back home, we stopped by Daddy's work and visited with him, Mr. Jim, and Mr. Blake.
These two love each other. Can you tell?
Daddy had to make a trip back to the shed, so we joined him.
Of course, we had to make a stop on our way back to the car so that we could swing on the swings.
Tater and I came home and took a long nap together.
When Daddy got home, we took a bike ride as a family, one of our favorite things now that the weather is so beautiful.
So thankful for our time together today.
