Pumpkin Carving

On Saturday, we went to Gramma and Papa's to carve our pumpkins.  We had planned on doing it at our house, but with the nasty rain and wind, we decided that carving them on our back patio probably wasn't the best thing.  Just thankful that Gramma and Papa were willing to let us borrow their house.
Tater loved sticking his hands in the pumpkin gunk.
And thank you, Papa, for taking these pictures!!!

Dave is the artist, so we let him handle the carving.

Papa and Tater shared an apple while Dave worked hard on the pumpkins.

Our Tater pumpkin, complete with glasses, still needing some finishing touches.

Our pumpkins!

Doctor Visit

Tater has his 18 month appointment last Friday, even though he is technically 19 months.  It was our first appointment with his new doctor since we moved.

We liked his new doctor and so did Tater.  His new doctor is actually Dave's old doctor when he was younger.

On our way to his appointment.

Hanging out together while we waited for the doctor.

It's always fun to spin on the doctor's chair.
 Spinning his book.
Reading his book while spinning.  I have no idea how this didn't make him sick.
Standing on the scale like a big boy.
He weighs 27.4 lbs and is 33 1/2 inches tall.  The doctor didn't give us the percentages, but I looked them up online and according to the site, he's in the 75%-100% group for both height and weight.

The doctor was impressed with his vocabulary and considered him advanced in both speech and motor skills.
We have a couple of health concerns, something I don't plan to discuss at this time on the blog (if you want to know, feel free to email me).  Because of these, he had to have blood taken.  He cried when the needle first went in, but then was fine after watching the blood go through the tube.  Sooo much better and easier than his stitches experience.

Playing with cars while waiting for his blood to be taken.
No shots this go around.  Woohoo!!!

Overall, it was a great appointment!  He's one awesome little man.

Fall Festival

Last Friday, we went to a fall festival at Gramma and Papa's church.

Cakewalk with Gramma.  He won us some awesome cookies.

This was my job that night...following this little tiger around.
 Playing games.

Headed outside to see the fire truck.

I know that he may not looked thrilled in this picture, but he was loving being up behind the wheel of the fire truck.
 More games

After we got home, I got a few pics of my tiger!

Tickle Tickle

 Tickle, tickle!!!
Tater was tickling Papa's feet and Papa was being awesome and playing along.  Tater thought this was hilarious.

Mommy Group Halloween Party

The weekend of the 22nd, we went to a mommy's group Halloween party.  Almost all of the children there were born in 2009 or later.  So much fun!

Reading on the way there.
Our little tiger, who didn't want to wear his hat while he played.

A few pictures with the hat on.

Two pictures...that was all I could get with the hat on.

The mommy group.  Can you find me and Tater?

Eating during the cakewalk.
 Getting his face painted.

Parties wear you out!
