Z Week

The weather was gorgeous that week, so we spent a lot of time outside playing.

Having our snack on the deck.
We found a Rolly Pollie.
We made a zoo with playdough, sticks, and animals.
Coloring in the Z on the table.
We marbled painted a Z.  It was supposed to look like zebra print, but it didn't quite turn out that way.
We made a Z with our blocks.
We did our Z alphabet puzzle.
We drew zig zag lines
We made a zig zag pattern with our markers.
A Z with sticks.
We learned about Zacchaeus and then colored a picture about him.
We found the Z in our book.
We learned about Zero.
We matched zoo animals with their tails.
Play time outside.

We played with paint in a ziploc bag.
We practiced zipping.
We made a Z with the tinkertoys.
We had fun watching the marbles go down the Z in this toy.
We made a Z with lacing beads.
We looked at the Z page in our ABC book.

Using our pattern blocks, we made cages for the different animals and made a zoo.

Y Week

Our car ramp made a Y.

We made the train track into a Y.

We even made ourselves into a Y.
Look!  I made a Y with my pretzel sticks.
 Making a Y with sticks.

 Coloring a yellow yellow jacket.
 Stamping yellow y's.
Sometimes, we're having a rough day and we have to stand in the corner when we don't listen and obey.
 Playing outside.
 Driving on the Y road.
Watch out for the yield sign.
He looks so cute while he's reading before falling asleep.
Watching them pick up tree branches.
We cut out yellow pictures out of magazines and glued them in the shape of a Y.

 Our Y puzzle.
 Looking at yellow objects.
Driving our cars on the Y road.
We put together a Y puzzle.
Putting numbered yarn pictures in order.

Playing outside with the awesome circle sprinkler.

Watching the trash truck is so much fun.
 Batter up!
 They loved the seesaw.

We painted a picture using yarn.
We made some yogurt popsicles. They were super yummy.

We painted with yogurt. I'm pretty sure that they ate more than they painted.

Our stethoscope is in the shape of a Y.
 Yo-Yo
Learning about the months of the year.
One of our musical instruments makes a Y.
We listened to this girl yodel.  The kids LOVED this.

 Yelling through the cardboard tube.
We even did some children's yoga.
 It poured like crazy.
