Vacation: Aquarium

On Thursday, we visited the local aquarium.  It was so hot and we were thankful to be doing something inside in the air conditioning.

 They had a section where you took care of a sick turtle.  We LOVED this part.

Zoo Date with the Tater

On Friday, Tater and I had a zoo date.  I didn't take my camera because I knew that keeping up with him would be hard enough.  Taking pictures while keeping up with a busy (and very fast) two year old my myself just never works very well. 

 I was able to snag these few cell phone pictures while we were there. 

The orangutans are such a cute couple. 

 We always love seeing the giraffes.

 This is how I spent most of our zoo trip.  I love spending time with this little guy. 

Zoo Fun with Sydney

A couple weeks ago, Tater and I met up with Amber and Sydney and had a great day at the zoo.  It was a tad chilly, but not chilly enough to stop us from checking out the animals.

 Sydney brought her wagon and they both loved it.  Of course, "my turn" was heard a lot that day as they fought over who was going to pull it. 

 The giraffes were very active that day.  They were having fun with the ostrich and it was awesome to watch them run.  So graceful.

 We told Sydney to kiss the turtle, but she wanted nothing to do with that. 

 Tater, on the other hand, thought that was a great idea.
