On April 22, we said goodbye to the crib...
...and said hello to the big boy bed.
I wasn't quite sure how it would go. All I knew is that he had taught himself how to climb into the crib and I'd seen him attempting to climb out. I knew that if he did climb out, it would probably result in a hurt Tater.
Saying goodbye to the crib was a tad sad, but so exciting at the same time. I love him and love watching him grow up. I try hard to not be sad about saying goodbye to things that he's outgrown, but instead be thankful that we have been blessed to be his parents and experience life with him.

It took a little while, but before long, he was sound asleep.
I was really nervous how he would handle naps in the big boy bed. I didn't have to worry after all.
I moved him out of the pack and play for nap time at B and J's house during the week. He's sleeping on B's old crib mattress (she's in a big girl bed, too). He loves his special little bed.
