More BG Fun

Last Saturday, we went back to the local amusement park.  I didn't take my camera, but I was able to get these three pictures with my phone.

Dave and Tater riding the merry-go-round.  I LOVE this picture.

We rode the train again and loved going across the bridge this time.  Tater loves watching the roller coasters, so he loved being able to see them from the train.

Tater rode the log flume for the first time.  He did great and wanted to go again.  So proud of my big boy.

Tater got a bracelet while we were there which shows which rides he can ride.  He is still wearing it and doesn't want us to take it off.

T Week

Last week, we learned about the letter T!

We played with trucks.
 We played with trains.
 We painted trains.
 We played in the tunnel.
We played outside and J loved playing hopscotch.
We drew a train with chalk.
We played with lots of tractors.
 We played in the backyard.
We loved playing with the Tinkertoys.
We made microphones with our tinkertoys.
 More trains.
We read some T books, including this Thomas book.
We had a special T train lunch.
Tater and I caught a caterpillar at our house and brought it to J and B's house.  We loved letting him crawl on our hands.  We put him on a tree and let him go free.
We played in the tent.
 We had a tea party.
We found the letter T in our ABC book.
We made T's with our veggie sticks.
We rode on J's tricycle
We played a train matching game.
We made a tractor using some T's.
 More tinkertoy microphones.
We played with Tigger and bounced around like him.
 We made towers.
We learned about different tools and put together a tool puzzle.
We had fun looking at the trees with our telescopes.
We put together the Thomas the Train puzzle.
We watched some of the movie Tangled.
We found triangle shapes in our pattern blocks.
 More tunnel fun!
 And more microphone fun.
We matched tails to different animals.
Not a t activity, but we skated around the living room with shoe boxes on our feet.
 We played in the tub.

We brushed our teeth and our tongue with our toothbrush and toothpaste.

We love the letter T!

Fun with Nana

Easter Sunday, Nana had to take Aunt Lisa back to college and she decided to stay with us that night and spend Monday with us since it was Spring Break.

Tater was so excited to see her.  She brought him an Easter basket and it didn't take long for him to go through his new treasures.  He loves this new ABC book.

On Monday, we went to Barnes and Noble to let Tater play with trains and then we headed to walk around the mall for a little while.  Tater just had to ride this before we could leave to go home.
Playing a new Thomas matching game with Nana.
After his nap, Tater had his 2 year old checkup.  So glad that Nana was able to go with us.

After the doctor's appointment, we went to grab some dinner and hang out for a little while before Nana had to head home.  Tater made his first Build a Bear, a soft koala bear that is now called Mr. Koala.

Kissing the heart that you put into the stuffed animal.
Putting the heart into Mr. Koala.
Feeling Mr. Koala as he was getting stuff.

As we continued to walk around, Tater wanted to carry his box.  Every now and then, he'd check on Mr. Koala to make sure that he was okay in his box.  So cute.

So glad that Nana was able to come and spend some time with us.

Easter: Then and Now

It's always fun for me to go back and look at old pictures, to see the tiny baby Tater,  and to compare them to the big boy Tater.
