S Week

We learned about the letter S!

(It was a super busy week with lots of activities, but I didn't realize it until I went back and uploaded the pics.  There are sooo many.)

We drove our school bus.

We made an S out of stickers.
We made lots of different shapes with our pattern blocks.
We searched for items in our I Spy book.
We pretended to fix things with the screwdriver.
We put together puzzles, including our S puzzle.
We drove the mini school bus on the curvy S road.
 We played with the slinky.
 We made spring trees.

We put the saw (and the rest of the tools) in our puzzle.
We caught sharks in our ocean magnet set.
 We made spiderwebs.
 We pretended to be spiders.

We did some fine motor work by trying to sweep the beads into the circle in the middle of the table.
We sang lots of songs into the microphone.
We looked what felt like a million times through the search and find book.
 We sponge painted some suns.

They held hands while crossing the street.

We pushed our stroller on a walk.
We ate sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches.

 We played with the stamps.
Another book that we read a million times was our Sesame Street book.

We played Stop and Go, a version we made up that is like red light, green light.
We moved beads from one container to the other using a spoon.  Look at the concentration on J's face.
We put together our soldier, scuba diver, and superhero puzzles.
We worked with our shapes, including our star and square shapes.
We found an animal in our animal book that started with an S.  A Seal!

We played with our stacking blocks and found 3 S words on them.  Can you find them?
We played with shaving cream.  Boy, it was so much fun.

 Shaving cream is so squishy.

We put J and B's hair into special hairstyles.

We ran through streamers.  50 cent streamers=30 minutes of excited squeals.

We pretended to be superheros.  Go Super B!
We played with stuff called cloud dough that feels like sand.

We stop painted.  (By the way, not a good idea to try on a windy day.)

 We practiced swinging the bat.

What a super fun and busy S week!
