The week before Easter, we did Easter activities instead of learning a new letter.
We watched the special Easter Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

We made a cross with our blocks.
We put on bunny ears. Aren't they cute?
We used our fine motor skills to open and close eggs.
We practiced balancing an egg on a spoon while walking.
We made lambs.
We made patterns with our eggs.
I wrote the numbers 1-9 on the eggs with a dry erase marker and we put them in order.
We matched colors to make eggs.
We painted eggs in our basket.
We read a cute Easter book called What Is Easter?
We watched the Veggie Tale Easter movie.
We used coffee filters to make eggs.

We dumped the eggs in the middle bowl and separated them by color.
Tater loved this activity and did it all by himself.
I showed them an egg like this and they had to find pieces and make a match. This activity was way over Tater and B's head, but J did well with it.
J's matches
We included eggs in with our playdough fun and J and I made this.
We had an egg hunt.
We made a tomb and put Jesus in there. Notice that Jesus is alive and not dead!
We made spring chicks with our feet and fingers.
We danced to praise music.
We sang along with Tater's bear to Jesus Loves Me.
We read in the devotion book that God loves us because He died for our sins.
While I was changing B's diaper, Tater went into the kitchen and I noticed that it got really quiet. I went in to see what he was up to and I found him like this. He was using the small flashlight to explore the sink. Crazy curious boy.

We made a cross with our beading blocks.

The weather was wonderful that Wednesday and we played with some water outside.
We hit eggs with the golf clubs.
We added eggs to our water bin.
After playing outside, we came inside and made resurrection rolls.
After baking them, Jesus, our marshmellow, was gone. He was not in the tomb!
J loved trying to find Jesus in her tomb (roll). She kept on asking where he was. :)
Such a fun time with the kiddos.
